Credentials

• NWSA was founded in 1994 and partners with more than 130 schools, community-based organizations and government agencies to address significant environmental issues in the Pacific Northwest.
• All PEEPs counselors are NWSA AmeriCorps members who serve throughout Oregon and southwest Washington.
• Counselors are college educated or working toward their degree.
• Counselors are CPR and First Aid certified by the American Red Cross.
• All PEEPs counselors have been screened by ESD 112 and cleared through a federal background check.
• All PEEPs drivers are trained in defensive driving by certified specialists.
• A member of PEEPs staff will be a certified Wilderness First Responder for all field excursions and overnights.
