PEEPs Art Auction and Benefit : A Success!
The PEEPs Student Leadership Team hosted a silent auction on November 7th from 7:00 – 9:00pm! All proceeds of the fundraiser go towards the PEEPs Scholarship Fund which will allow disadvantaged youth to attend our environmental service-learning summer program next year. The auction was held at the NorthwestServiceAcademy’s LowerColumbiaCenter and was designed, planned and hosted by our five PEEPs student leadership team members! They worked hard to put together a night of art and fun and that work paid off! They raised over $750 for scholarships!!
For more information about our Student Leadership Team, or the art benefit, please contact Paul Satzinger or by phone at 503-234-2383 ext 119.
PEEPs works with local youth to engage them in their community and build environmental consciousness through service learning and immersion experiences.
The PEEPs program shares the value and fun in service with rising middle school students by engaging in hands-on projects, taking daily field excursions throughout Portland, and tackling local challenges from a different perspective. PEEPs provides a fabulous opportunity for kids that want to make difference in their communities! We hope to see you soon!
